Hello, I’m Ariel, owner and creator of Laurel & Twine. Over the years, plants became a newfound passion and found that my cat Purdy had the same passion but she just showed it a little differently- by eating them… So that’s when I decided to start making plant hangers to keep them away from her. As my collection of handmade plant accessories grew, and my house flourished into a green oasis, I decided to take things a step further and share my creations with the world. That’s how my business was born, and I’ve been doing what I love for about three years now. I describe my design aesthetic as minimal with a touch of boho rustic modern, utilizing three main mediums: wood, gold hoops, and macrame cord. Every item I offer is handmade, from cutting, sanding, staining the wood, to tying and knotting the macrame. They’re not just plant accessories; they’re pieces of art that blend seamlessly into your home.
