As a mom of four, finding time to create wasnt always easy. I started selling my art online as a way to stay motivatedand before long, I fell in love with the energy of local markets. Connecting with people and seeing them resonate with my work reignited the passion I had been missing. My creative inspiration comes straight from my outdoor adventuresfrom mountain trails and blooming wildflowers to the wildlife I encounter along the way. Each piece I create carries that love of nature, with the hope that it sparks a meaningful connection with everyone who picks it up.

Unhinged was created out of a strong sense of individuality and a “one of a kind” sensibility. I love making and curating items that are slightly off from the main, that create that feeling of specialness, but always with a sense of humor. We are the “Purveyors of the Oddly Beautiful” which pretty much sums it up. While our Be Kind motto is a great call to action we also love some snark in everyday life. Items, jargon, and images that make me laugh out loud are always something that I think needs to be shared. Repurposing and re-imagining vintage products adds an extra level of uniqueness as well. I hope you enjoy our “Oddly Beautiful” products as much as I enjoy finding and making them.

I craft art in harmony with nature, intertwining the cycles of life, decay, and renewal to transform organic materials into one-of-a-kind creations imbued with meaning. I aim to celebrate the natural worlds beauty and resilience, reflecting its endless capacity for growth and transformation of life and death. My work tells a story of connectionbetween humanity and nature, impermanence and survival, craftsmanship and the organic pulse of life surrounding us.
